Achievement guide
Everything is Crab 100% Achievement Guide
The public Steam achievement list contains 40 achievements. The cleanest way to finish them is not one giant run. Group them by route type, then build runs around one family at a time.
Quick Answer
For 100% completion, clear normal progression first, then route boss tricks, then build-specific achievements such as The Crabtain, Bullseye, 100 Coats, and Zen, then finish collection goals like Full House. Do not combine no-hit, final-boss condition, shiny, and bestiary goals in one serious attempt.
Progression and natural achievements
These are usually unlocked by playing, reaching bosses, clearing challenges, or discovering core systems. Use them to learn before forcing difficult routes.
| Achievement family | What to do | Recommended route |
|---|---|---|
| Discovery | Find species, food, or Codex entries naturally. | Balanced survival build with good food tempo. |
| Challenge clears | Finish unlockable challenge scenarios. | Use the challenge's rule as the build's center, not an afterthought. |
| Pressure progression | Push higher difficulty pressure levels. | Reliable damage plus movement and defensive scaling. |
| Biome progress | Reach and survive later areas. | Prioritize terrain adaptation and food stability over novelty. |
Boss-condition achievements
Boss achievements are easiest when treated as puzzles. Your build should support the exact condition before the fight begins.
| Achievement | Requirement summary | Route advice |
|---|---|---|
| Ole! | Hit a Crabtaur while it is charging. | Bring movement, create a charge line, and attack during the commitment window. |
| Opportunistic | Kill Crabtaur by crashing it into an obstacle. | Lower health carefully, then route the charge into terrain. Avoid accidental final hits. |
| Rebellious | Have a charmed Crawlee kill Clawdia. | Build charm, protect the Crawlee, and stop attacking before the final hit. |
| In a rush+ | Defeat a boss in under 5 seconds during a run. | Use a burst damage shell after learning boss spawn and opening timing. |
| Carcinise this | Beat the final boss in under 15 seconds. | Save this for a high-damage, high-confidence route. Practice final boss openings first. |
| It was a dinosaur | Have the final boss be killed by the Cataclysm Event. | Plan survival and positioning rather than pure damage. The problem is ending state control. |
Build-specific achievements
The Crabtain
Reach Carcinisation 10 in a run. Track crab-like pieces deliberately and use rerolls when the route is already close.
100 Coats
Use Moulting 10 times in a single run. Build the route around staying alive long enough to repeat the action.
Bullseye
Kill a boss using a rock. Community routes point toward Stoner and controlled boss health management.
Zen
Beat the game without taking damage. Simplify the run. Movement, clean routes, and patience matter more than greedy power.
Collection and tracking achievements
Full House and similar collection goals reward tracking. Keep a simple note of what you have eaten, charmed, defeated, or discovered. If you are building the site into a larger project, the next best feature is an achievement tracker with local browser storage.
Recommended 100% cleanup order
- Play normal survival runs until you have a reliable first win route.
- Clear easy progression and discovery achievements while learning biomes.
- Do boss-condition achievements one at a time.
- Build special routes for The Crabtain, 100 Coats, Bullseye, and Frens/Rebellious.
- Attempt pressure and challenge goals after your build knowledge is stable.
- Finish Full House and rare collection goals with a tracker open.
- Save Zen and final-boss condition achievements for focused attempts.
Sources and verification
Achievement names and requirement summaries are based on the public Steam achievements page and community route documentation. Some hidden achievements may be presented differently in different community mirrors, so always verify against Steam for the current live list.
FAQ
How long does 100% take?
It depends heavily on mechanical skill and how much you use guides. Boss-condition, no-damage, and collection achievements usually create most of the time.
Can I unlock everything in one run?
No practical route should try that. Several achievements have conflicting goals, such as no-damage discipline versus collection or final-hit manipulation.
What should I do before Zen?
Learn boss patterns, use a clean movement build, and route food safely. Do not mix Zen with collection or experimental build goals.
